Updating my profile as recommended and I have a question. I appreciate that EEAT and links are important on the profile page to list on Google. I’ve written many guide articles for papers, magazines, parks and wonder if linking to my author page on those publications would help. And, if so, where to post such links on the Profile page?
Hi Stephen @snett , thanks for posting your question and welcome to the forum! Yes, I’d definitely recommend linking to your profile and any specific tours you mention when you’re writing for any online publications. It’s exactly the kind of credential that signals expertise and real-world experience to Google.
To include them on your profile, I’d say choose the top publications and add them in the “Publications and Shows” section of the credentials. These appear as a bulleted list underneath your bio. So, be selective, choose your top five to seven publications rather than listing everything. Most listeners won’t read beyond the first few, so quality over quantity goes a long way here.
Thanks Helene, much appreciated as always!
