Bulk Sales?

Has anyone figured, out or managed to complete, any bulk sales? I have not, and can’t quite figure out what that looks like.

Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts or insights if you have them.

Hi @frankbures

I have offered walking companies that bring clients to my audio guide areas the choice of bulk purchases so that they could add them into the itinerary of their tours. In most cases the clients have a free day to explore a town.

Even offering half price has resulted in zero sales that way. In fact one company just sends their clients to voicemap so they can buy it if they want to. Look here on day 7 of the itinerary. https://pura-aventura.com/holiday/ronda-hills-walking-holiday#itinerary

I was hoping to sell a huge bulk to the cruise companies coming into Cádiz port but that hasn’t worked out either. :frowning:

Just to follow up on this, I think there might be a way to do bulk sales. Is anyone else interested in this?

There are a couple things that I think would be necessary for it to be a viable thing.

When I’m walking into a hotel, or a business, trying to get someone to put down some money for a bulk order, there are two main obstacles: 1) They don’t know what an audio tour is, and 2) The process seems way too complicated.

Most people already have enough work to do, and are not looking to give themselves more, especially when its something that’s only a marginal financial benefit to them. (Unless they’re giving it away.)

If I could present them with a designated website for a bulk sellers, where they just log in, purchase copies, and can see how many copies they have left, as well as what the codes are (and maybe be able to change a code if they want to), I think that would make things a lot simpler. The site could have a cart or something that shows the price based on the number purchased. It could store the payment info for each account, to make re-upping as simple as possible.

I don’t think this should be app-based, because you would have multiple employees using it, and employee turnover will affect accessibility.

In any case, it should be simple, and smooth and intuitive.

Does anyone else have thoughts on this?
