Does anyone have an A4 sheet explaining about bulk sales to those you are trying to sell them to?
Hi @virginiamdriver Great question! Bulk sales are a great way to supplement your income from tour sales. Here’s information you can share with potential partners.
The key is sharing your story and the unique experience of the tour.
Explaining the tour to potential partners
Use a tour poster with a QR code – (see options here) and the example below – to show them the tour details, help them understand the download process, and offer them a free copy using your promotional voucher codes.
Offering VoiceMap tours to your guests or customers
VoiceMap tours are an easy way to enhance your guest experience or create an additional revenue stream. Whether you’re a hotel, museum, tourism shop, or tour operator, you can offer professionally produced audio tours without any technical integration or upfront costs.
We offer high-quality, GPS-guided audio tours in more than 600 destinations that your guests access through the VoiceMap app. Tours work offline, include turn-by-turn navigation, and can be listened to as many times as guests like. You can offer them as a complimentary amenity, sell them in your shop, or include them as part of a package.
Three ways to offer VoiceMap tours
Option 1: Purchase directly through the VoiceMap site
Buy tours directly through the “Buy for a Group” button on any tour page. Automatic volume discounts apply:
- 2-20 copies: 15% off
- 21-100 copies: 25% off
- 101+ copies: 50% off
After purchase, you receive voucher codes to distribute to your guests. They redeem codes in the VoiceMap app by tapping on Tour Codes and selecting Enter Codes.
An example of a group purchase of 50 for your Waikaia’s Hidden Histories tour.
Option 2: Purchase from the tour creator
Work directly with the tour creator to purchase voucher codes. Many creators offer competitive pricing and can provide personalised service. You receive voucher codes to distribute, and guests redeem them the same way. This option works well if you prefer to establish a direct relationship with local creators.
Option 3: Licence tours for your hotel or business
Perfect for hotels wanting to offer tours as an ongoing guest amenity. Pay a licensing fee for unlimited downloads during the licence period. The tour can be customised to include information about your property and adjusted to start or end at your location. VoiceMap handles all the technical details – you simply promote the tour to your guests.

For you as the publisher:
If partners choose option 2 (purchasing directly from you):
On Growth and Priority plans, voucher credits cost $0.89 each. You purchase these through your VoiceMap dashboard and can then sell them to partners at your chosen price – many publishers price similarly to the VoiceMap retail price. For example, if you buy voucher credits at $0.89 and sell them for $7.99 per tour, you earn $7.10 profit per sale with no royalty split to VoiceMap.
How voucher codes work:
- Purchase voucher credits from VoiceMap at your plan rate through your dashboard
- Create voucher codes and assign your credits to them
- Provide the voucher codes to your partner
- Your partner distributes codes to their customers
- Customers redeem codes in the app
- You can monitor redemptions through your dashboard
This works particularly well with local tourism shops, museums, and galleries that typically work on 10–25% commission structures.
If partners choose Option 3 (licensing): VoiceMap handles the invoicing and payment collection directly with the partner, and you receive your standard royalty on the agreed licensing fee. Contact us to discuss licensing arrangements.

Thank you, Helene! I have a question about Option 2. If a hotel or other partner purchases voucher codes from me at a discounted price, this means they need to solve the payment for the tour with their clients themselves on spot? So, when the clients redeem the codes in the app, the tour loads without further charge for the clients?
Hi @julialukova Yes, they will then arrange for payment with their clients, they can even offer the tour for free, as we often see with hotels. There are no further charges when the client enters the voucher code in the app.
