New tour - approval times

Hi everyone!

I’m new here. I currently working on the submission of my first tour. I’ve already created the tour route and submitted the sample audio file and the audios of two stops.

Currently waiting for approval. It’s supposed to take 2 business days, it’s been a week.

Is it just delays in the approval process or might I have missed something?

Thank you & best regards,

Johannes

Hi @maller.johannes_voic welcome to the VoiceMap forum!

I believe your editor has already been in touch to explain the next steps. Our tour creation process has six steps, with a review stage built in at each one. This is especially useful for first-time publishers, since your editor gives feedback and guidance as you go. The route approval comes first, and we recommend moving on to the script, followed by audio recording only once that’s done. You can read more about the tour creation process here.

VoiceMap assigns an editor to every tour, usually within a few hours of the tour being created (this can take a little longer over weekends). They’ll reach out to you and also offer a demo call to walk you through the tour creation steps early in the process.

Response times for script and audio editing depend on your publishing plan. Many publishers publish tours on the free Basic plan, which has a 7-day response time. If you have additional publishing needs, like a faster turnaround, working on multiple tours at the same time, or including additional sound design, our Priority and Pro plans offer a 3-day response time alongside other benefits. You can read more about our plans here.
