Weekly top tours spotlight (17-23 May 2025)

Every week we look at the top tours in terms of direct downloads and sales. It’s time we celebrate these with more than just our team. Both the top 10 lists are for tours sold and downloaded directly through VoiceMap (so it excludes tours sold through resellers and publisher vouchers).

We’re happy to see tours in Paris making a comeback after a slight decline during the 2024 Olympics, with three claiming spots in the top sales rankings through tours covering Montmartre, Le Marais, and the Latin Quarter.

The Apartheid Museum tour in Johannesburg tops the downloads, demonstrating how well indoor tours do when the institution behind them actively champions their tours.

Meanwhile, the strong performance of Prague’s Jewish Quarter tour (#3 in downloads, #8 in sales) shows just how much listeners enjoy thoughtfully-curated tours of focused historical content.
