Each week, we round up the top ten tours by direct sales and downloads. These lists only include tours sold directly through VoiceMap, so they don’t reflect activity from resellers or publisher voucher codes.
We also include destination, duration, and price for the sales list to give you an idea of average tour pricing.
Two key insights from last week’s sales: the power of leveraging existing platforms and the growing impact of group sales.
Many publishers on our bestseller lists actively promote through their own channels. Sébastien Ivers promotes his tours in Quebec on his website, while Daniel Berger-Jones directly links to the VoiceMap description of his Boston tours on his. These publishers, just as many others on our bestseller lists, understand that VoiceMap works best when combined with their existing audience and marketing efforts.
Our new group purchase feature is also already showing results. This week’s list benefited from several bulk purchases, with users finding the “Buy for a Group” option particularly useful. So, if anyone is interested in buying, five, fifty, or 150 copies of your tour, you can direct them directly to your tour page. Below is an example of the “Buy for a Group” option that’s available for all tours.
